Somewhere Over the…Swamp?

For nearly 70 years, Kermit the Frog has been delighting audiences and touching our hearts with his wisdom on pigs, banjos, and the difficulties of being green. But what could Kermie and his swamp music have to teach us about Unitarian Universalism? Guest minister Leika Lewis will offer a sermon on science, hope, and the power of imagination for the future of our movement.

Leika Lewis (they/she) is a UU poet, chaplain, and Humanist theologian. Leika received their MDiv from Chicago Theological Seminary in April 2024. A native of the DC area, Leika has spent the past 20 years working with churches, non-profits, and large organizations to transform conflict and build inclusive culture and now blends that experience with a calling to UU ministry and movement chaplaincy. Leika lives in Milford, DE with their family.

The service will be in person and online. Zoom link below.
