The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Easton (UUFE) continues its longstanding commitment to community service through its bi-monthly outreach program, which supports local nonprofit organizations with donations contributed by UUFE members. Recently, Carol Meredith, UUFE Outreach Coordinator, presented a $750 donation to Ivan Colon of the Delmarva Pride Center in recognition of the Center’s ongoing work serving the LGBTQIA+ community across the Eastern Shore.

UUFE is an active and welcoming religious community made up of people from all walks of life, races, gender identities, religions, and backgrounds. Grounded in its commitment to social justice and inclusion, UUFE’s outreach program reflects the congregation’s shared values of caring for one another, celebrating diversity, and protecting the natural environment.

“Supporting organizations like the Delmarva Pride Center is central to who we are,” said Meredith. “We are proud to partner with local nonprofits that strengthen our community and advance equality and justice.” The Delmarva Pride Center’s mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies. Through advocacy, education, and social engagement, the Center fosters a supportive community, promotes equality, amplifies diverse voices, and stands against discrimination. Its work helps build a world where everyone can live authentically and with dignity.
