The UUFE community comes together to celebrate the life of long-time member Jean Ellen Rhian, who passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026. Jean’s memorial service will be Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 2pm at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Easton, 7401 Ocean Gateway (Route 50), Easton. The service will also be available via Zoom (see link below).
Jean was a vibrant, creative, and deeply thoughtful woman whose presence touched many lives. She had a rare ability to lead with both strength and kindness, inspiring those around her while honoring the creativity, complexity, and dignity of each person she encountered.
Jean’s spiritual home was the Unitarian Fellowship, a community she loved and served with devotion. She sang in the choir, led the finance committee, served as president, and created the Endowment Fund, leaving behind a legacy of care and thoughtful stewardship.
Jean is survived by her beloved sister, Gail; her husband, Jerry; their children, Ethan, Seth, David, and Kathy; and their grandchildren, Quinn, Alyssa, Lea, and Riley.
