Advocating for Climate Change Legislation

Addressing climate change becomes more critical each day. Very soon we may reach the point of no return. Every little bit we can do will help. UUFE members believe that protecting the environment is important, and the Social Justice team is helping to implement that.

As we begin a new year, legislators are debating and presenting their bills. Many organisations are planning their activities for the coming year as the issues become known. This list of upcoming events and activities offers a chance to participate at all levels. Some are local and you can attend in person, some are national and can be accessed online.

We encourage you to find out what issues are important for you and how your local representatives are voting. It’s not an exaggeration to say that how they vote will determine the future of our planet. Members of the Social Justice team will be attending various meetings, please contact Mary Lou Malone for more information about joining us.
