Benjamin Van Dyne is a entering PhD student in systematic theology at Fordham University, where his work focuses on white and Christian supremacy, and social solidarity in the face of violence and suffering. He worked as a community organizer in Indiana, Kentucky, Virginia, New York City and Long Island before attending Union Theological Seminary. He was raised in the UU church of Arlington, Virginia, and lives in Manhattan with his partner and two children.
