Please join Rev. Dr. Linda Olson Peebles for an Advent meditation on the miracle of life, and the centrality of love, in our lives and as the guiding star for Unitarian Universalism.
The Rev. Dr. Linda Olson Peebles has recently retired following 32 years as a UU religious professional – most recently as Interim Lead Minister at the UU Congregations of Charlottesville, VA, of Rockville Maryland, and of Accotink UU Church in Burke, VA. She served in a 16-year settled position as Team Minister in Arlington, VA, following a 11-year position as DRE and then Minister of Religious Education at Mt. Vernon Unitarian Church in Alexandria, Her graduate degrees are from Meadville Lombard Theological School, Chicago, IL. She has served the UUA in a variety of elected and appointed roles including 8 years on the Board of Trustees, 4 years on the Journey Towards Wholeness Transformation Committee, and terms on the Ministerial Fellowship Committee and the RE Credentialling Committee. She was also President of the UU Ministers Association for 4 years. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband of more than 50 years, close to their four young grandchildren.
