Our Mission

The mission of the NLDC is to support UUFE committees and the Board of Trustees as they develop goals and practices that lead to identifying, recruiting, training, supporting, and recognizing leaders.

“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more,
become more, you are a leader.”
– John Quincy Adams

What We Do

The UUFE Nominating and Leadership Development Committee (NLDC) is responsible for composing a slate of nominees for the Board, in addition to members of the committees not under the authority of the Board. This slate is presented to the congregation to be voted on at the UUFE annual meeting each May. Furthermore, the NLDC envisions an organization full of competent leaders of all ages and at all levels with smooth succession in key leadership.

Why We Serve

We hope this Fellowship continues to thrive and grow, since it is a unique community for folks who seek a liberal religious home. We work to recognize individuals with the leadership potential and willingness to serve among our members, to insure the continuity of strong leadership within our congregation.
