UUFE has traditionally completed all administrative functions on a volunteer basis. With the departure of a long-time volunteer who has led our administrative team, we are looking to hire an administrative coordinator temporarily for a few hours each week to help organize our new structure.
Core roles to include:
1) Support the administrative volunteers (help identify what needs to be done, find answers to volunteer’s questions),
2) Complete certain administrative tasks (oversee office equipment, assist with copying and database inputs, electronic distribution of materials, etc.)
3) Answer member’s general questions, often by matching them to the church leader who can assist.
4) Help us define our administrative needs for the future.
The ideal candidate would enjoy a multi-faceted, evolving role (jack of all trades), enjoy people and finding answers to a broad range of issues, value the efforts of our volunteer-based process, and be comfortable helping the organization in a time of transition.
4 hours per week, $15/hour, with flexibility.
