Autumn Update for RE Families

Hello, RE families!

Happy Weekend to everyone. Just a few things to catch you up on the goings and comings of life in the UUFE RE corner of the world:

1.  Developing a reverence for life is the theme in the elementary classroom for the next two weeks. Lauren Harton will lead the class and may even bring in some in some of the live babies she has crawling around her house to illustrate how awesome new, human life can be.

2 kids2.  Glow bowling night for teens and tweens is scheduled for Friday, November 20th at UUFE. All middle and high school youth are welcome to come for indoor glow bowling, sweets, and chit chat.

3.  Everyone’s breaking bread at the Sunday service on 11/22! This is our annual Bread Communion, and we invite all the children to stay in the service. There is a hands on portion of the service that the children will help out with—bringing in our bread, apples, honey, and flowers. I’m also looking for some parents to help provide some props. Can you help? Just reply and let me know. *Miss Cailyn will be in the playroom during the Bread Communion for any kids 5 years old and under that would rather play.

2 kids sing 350x2714. We’re canceling the elementary class on Sunday, November 29th since so many people will be busy with their families. Children are always welcome to enjoy the service with their families, and Miss Cailyn will be in the playroom to hang out with any kids 5 years old and under.

I hope you’re enjoying what may be the last of this spring-like fall weather.

See you on Sunday,
Patty Hamsher
