On June 4th we will celebrate this year of children’s religious education at our annual RE Sunday service. This is a time for us to recognize the many volunteers that make RE possible as well as a space to showcase what our children have learned. This year, we’ve decided to tell the story of The Lorax and have asked our children and youth to be 3D illustrations. The Lorax is a story of how impactful small things can be, the same theme that ran through our upper elementary and lower elementary curricula this year. Come see the children play the parts of Dr. Seuss’s timeless story and listen to our young musicians and orators provide music and readings, too!
Peace Camp comes to UUFE for the fourth summer in a row on June 27, 28, and 29th. Each morning we will gather together to be inspired by the stories of famous peacemakers and participate in crafts, music, and movement activities that teach us to be more peaceful and mindful. There are still several spaces available for children ages 5-10. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register!
